Tuesday, July 16, 2019FREE OVAC YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC SET FOR SATURDAY, JULY 27
WHEELING, WV — To kickoff the beginning of the 2019-20 ‘SUBWAY Sports Clinic Series’ the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference will be hosting its annual free youth football clinic in conjunction with the ‘Rudy Mumley OVAC All-Star Charity Football Classic presented by Huntington Bank & WTOV9.’ The clinic will take place the day of the game on Saturday, July 27, at the Wheeling Island Stadium.
Registration will take place at the Stadium from noon to 12:45 p.m. The clinic will last from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and will be directed by OVAC football coaches, including members of Coach Chris Daugherty’s Wheeling Park High School football staff. Additionally, Bethany College Football staff will assist with the clinic. The instructors will teach the basic fundamentals of football with a focus on building self-esteem. The clinic is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-13.
